Show Highlights in CITE2011
  1. Vice Chairman of CNTA Mr. Du-Jiang delivered welcoming speech at the CITE11 opening ceremony.
  2. A Contract Signing Ceremony for long term cooperation among 10 leading tourism companies was held under the witnesses of overseas and local guests.
  3. Guangdong Governor Mr. Huang Hua-hua declared the start of CITE2011.
  4. President Of WTTC Mr. Jean-Claude Baumgarten attended and showed support on CITE2011.
  5. Welcoming Luncheon provided a networking opportunity for hundreds of travel trade to meet with each other.
  6. The great performances in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Night conducted a relax atmosphere for some 200 travel trade to extend their social network.
  7. Government authorities, research organizations and travel trade shared their market insights in "China Tourism Industry Development Forum 2011".
  8. The world's 3rd largest cruise operator, Star Cruises Limited introduced their newly launched route at CITE2011.
  9. Hong Kong Tourism Board organized a large Hong Kong Pavilion with 10 exhibitors.
  10. Macau Government Tourist Office organized some 8 booths-pavilion with impressive presentation of Macau hotels & travel services
  11. Visitors were attracted by the newly launched F.I.T packages in Taiwan.
  12. Korea Tourism Organization introduced the hottest attractions and activities in Korea.
  13. Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organization introduces their new travel routes along with the Shinkansen bullet train line to travel trade.
  14. Visitors enjoyed the funny mini games at the Japan Pavilion.
  15. Malaysian dancers performed traditional dance on their pavilion’s mini stage.
  16. Visitors showed great interest on the attractions, hotels and travel services being introduced in Thailand Pavilion.
  17. Eight companies including attractions, travel services and airlines introduced their latest products in Singapore Tourism Board Pavilion.
  18. Egyptian Embassy in China Tourism Office shared Egypt ancient and modern civilization with visitors.
  19. Visitors experienced Maori unique culture through the performances of traditional “Waiata” and “Haka”.
  20. Mexico Tourism Board firstly joined CITE2011 to promote their rich cultural inheritance.
  21. In response to the increasing number of Chinese tourists, Indian Tourism Office promoted its scenic spots and heritage sites in CITE2011.
  22. China Southern Airlines showcased their extensive domestic and international air networks in CITE2011.
  23. World Without Borders introduced Russia hottest attractions to visitors.
  24. Hong Kong Disneyland promoted their Halloween highlight in CITE2011 and invited 2 “Ghosts” to take photo with visitors.
  25. Visitors were attracted by the adorable characters of Ocean Park.
  26. Visitors were able to taste the German gastronomy and experience the joy of Oktoberfest in CITE2011.

CITE2012 is the national-level tourism expo jointly organized by National Tourism Administration of PRC (CNTA), People's Government of Guangdong Province and Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province.

The expo provides a one-stop platform for travel trade to meet, network, negotiate with potential business partners under one roof. Contributing from its well-established B-To-B and B-To-C sales and marketing foundation, also the strong support and involvement of the government, CITE is well-attended by thousands of international and local travel trade annually.
